Owner
Ken is a former U.S. Navy wrestling champion and command physical readiness coordinator. He is a graduate of Howard University and founded Blackout Personal training to solve the problem of overpriced personal training and ineffective group exercise classes


April Leftwich
Head Coach
April is a Richmond native with a background in swimming, diving, cheerleading and softball, she’s passionate about helping others grow stronger both physically and mentally. April loves the supportive, small group atomosphere at Blackout where accountability and community drive real results. Outside the gym she enjoys her family time, serving at her church and outdoor adventures like hiking and kayaking. She believes fitness is about empowerment and is dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself.
